Kiasu Cowboys (Draft)
Singapore Cowboy was recorded by Matthew And The Mandarins for EMI Singapore in 1978. It reached No.1 in the Singapore Pop Music Charts. It is an ode to alienation recorded at the dawn of global culture. In using this track, I acknowledge Matthew Tan, John Tung and all the Singapore Cowboys who preceded my Koboi Project's 2016 engagement. My remixed soundtrack begins with a prayer to Lord Murugan recorded during a performance at the Singapore Biennale.
