Os portugueses eurasiáticos - Kristang - formam um componente pequeno, mas fundamental da sociedade moderna da Malásia. Jingkli Nona é o Branyo (forma de dança) exemplar de Kristang (Malaca Portuguesa). É uma canção sobre um casal jovem, uma casa sem porta e o amor! Mais para o final do vídeo você ouvirá o som de Joget Malaio.

 

The Malacca Portuguese Eurasians or Kristang, form a small but fundamental component of Modern Malaysian society. Jingkli Nona is the exemplary Kristang (Malacca Portuguese) Branyo (a dance form). It is a song about a young man, a young woman, a house without a door and love!  Towards the end of the video above you will hear strains of the Malay Joget.
